Large Format Flatbed Print Operator

We are seeking a Large Format Print Operator to run our large format direct to substrate print division.

Duties:

Coding jobs, speaking with clients, working with a team
Operate the Flatbed Printer
Daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance
Room maintenance (temperature, humidity, cleanliness)
Making sure your jobs are done correctly and on time
Completing your jobs as quick as possible and of high quality
Work with service technicians to maintain your machines
Ensure all jobs run smoothly, on time, and of highest quality standards.
Work closely with key clients to complete jobs, scheduling clients to come in to see 1st proofs onsite when necessary
You will work closely with management to increase departmental efficiency, workflow, and standard operating procedure throughout the department

Requirements:

Full-time role: 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed
Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
Minimum 18 months Canadian work experience is essential
Previous experience working with flatbed printers (1 year minimum)
Previous printing experience (2 year minimum)
Full Adobe Suite
Colour Management Skills
Good communication skills
Strive for continuous growth, consistently improving the processes and procedures around you in the department
Finishing Capabilities
Ability to lift at least 40lbs
